The Blueprint of a Rebellion

Let’s grab a mug of tea, bring an open mind, and get completely honest.

My name is Triciaa. I am a 41-year-old single mother of five, an educator, an artist, a novelist, and a full-time Applied Psychology and Neuroscience student. I am also an ambivert, ambidextrous Aquarius, a lover of deep chit-chat over coffee, and a disabled woman navigating life from a wheelchair.

But beneath those titles lies a 22-year journey of refusing to break.

Surviving the Storm

My path started in the crucible of a traumatic childhood—marked by abuse, sexual assault, and the foster care system until I emancipated at 16. By 18, my first pregnancy triggered a brutal descent into postpartum depression. With each of my five children, the darkness deepened. For decades, I lived with severe Treatment-Resistant Depression. I ate my feelings to survive a body and mind that felt like a war zone. Traditional therapies failed me; professionals walked away, labeling my case "too severe."

My medical chart became a battlefield: multiple major surgeries, Endometriosis, PCOS, Fibromyalgia, a meningioma brain tumor, complex spinal fusions left with cadaver bones, and stage 4 osteoarthritis, leaving me with zero hip cartilage. My mind carried the weight of C-PTSD and Schizoaffective disorder, while my late-30s finally brought the liberating clarity of an Autism and ADHD diagnosis.

The Wake-Up Call

For 22 years of marriage, I gave pieces of myself away until I almost paid with my life. This year, I faced a stark reality check: if I didn't choose me, I wouldn't be here.

I made a radical, painful, and entirely necessary decision: I am putting my health and wellness above everything—including my family—for now.

You cannot pour from an empty cup, and mine was bone-dry. This website is the living proof of my pivot. I am studying the very mechanics of my own brain and body so I can engineer my way back to walking, hiking, and jogging.

The Best is Yet to Come

Living with chronic illness, chronic pain, chronic fatigue, and a wheelchair doesn't mean my story is over. It means the chapter is changing. I am shedding the weight of a past that tried to bury me, using my creative soul, my scientific mind, and my warrior spirit to rebuild.

I’m glad you’re here. Pull up a chair, take a sip, and let’s rebel against the odds together. Because the best is absolutely yet to come.
